Readers interested in innovation within a larger context of religion, society and global culture please check out my first book Red Bull to Buddha: Innovation and the Search for Wisdom (also available by donation)
In my last trip to India, I spent about two months in Ladakh and Spiti Valley, an area deep in the Himalayas accessible only a few months out of the year that some refer to as “Little Tibet.” After a grueling two-day trek to Phuktal Monastery, a honeycomb-like structure built around a sacred cave that hugs the cliffs at an elevation of 12,000 feet, I had the idea for Disruption Revolution, a project dedicated to promoting how innovation can make the world better.
Buddhists have a concept of dhana, which is that nobody should be denied access to teachings because of economic need. As a practitioner of meditation for 20 years and a former Ph.D. candidate at Princeton in the Department of Religion, I have dedicated my life to finding balance between disruptive innovation and traditional conceptions of wisdom and community.
Disruption Revolution is committed to offering high-quality content on a donation basis that empowers innovators with the wisdom to find solutions to challenging problems. Please consider supporting our efforts so that we can continue this important work. I can’t wait to see how it continues to grow and unfold.
Thanks for your time and support, and for being part of the Disruption Revolution!
